Travel Nurse's Bible

I just finished reading this invaluable travel nurse guide written by David Morrison RN who has been a traveler himself for over a decade. It's like having a best friend who is a traveling nurse and shares all of his secrets with you! I wish I had read it BEFORE taking my first assignment, as it may have saved me a lot of anguish dealing with the agency I was contracted with. He covers every topic you can imagine from choosing an agency to housing issues to tax tips to how to get out of a bad situation. If you are currently a traveler, or think you might travel someday, get yourself a copy NOW. TravelNursesBible.com

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience with your first assignment's company. It sounds like you are becoming an expert now though. Remember we kept reminding ourselves that "This was an adventure." I'll have to check out this Travel Nurses Bible, in case I go back to travel nursing.

Alicia, what I like most about travel nursing is making new friends. Traveling to new areas and sight-seeing was what interested me in the first place and I have learned that being a traveler stretches me as a nurse in good ways. There are also great tax advantages to travel nursing.

Actually if you are interested in travel nursing in an RV, the "Highway Hypodermics" series in the only one out there that has a full chapter on travel nursing in an RV. It can also be found on amazon.
