- I am 40 years old and starting a new adventure. My boys are 17 and 18 years old and becoming independent young adults, I am so proud of them. Next year, they will both be in college and I will begin to fulfill my dream of being a full-time traveling nurse. There are so many places I want to see! My wonderful boyfriend of 6 years will be coming with me as we travel across the U.S. in our fifth-wheel. I can't wait to get started! Stay tuned............

What a MARVELOUS, wonderful note your patient wrote for your "satisfaction survey" :-) Seldom do people take the time to talk/write about the positives of an experience. I'm SO glad you have this to add to your "encouragement file" (personal file you keep of good stuff like this to dig out and read through when you need a lift). And I'm writing to thank you for the comment you left on my blog about what I wrote commenting on a post on the Serenity Hospital blog. I'm so very glad it was helpful for you. That's a really hard, hard situation...and I know I'm not even scratching the surface. Please take hope, though. I was the director of an outpatient mental health clinic for 14 years and have 19 years experience of a very active practice. There really is much reason for hope. All the best to you!
